I did this painting of my grandfather, Frank Dennis, for his 95th birthday. Hebrews 12:1-2 says “…let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Yeshua, the author and perfector of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross…” Not only does my grandfather continue to run the race set before him with endurance, but also with childlike joy. He lives the way he sleds (yes, he still sleds at 95), headfirst and with great enthusiasm, the joy of eternity with his Creator before him. May we all learn from this example.
